Standard Return Policy

 You can initiate a return for most new and unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund.* You must return items in new or unused condition with all original materials included with the shipment. We must receive your returned items at our processing facility within 45 days of delivery. We inspect all returned items and award a partial refund for opened products. If the return is a result of our error or defective product, we will refund the full cost of the merchandise and shipping charges.

No returns will be accepted after a maximum of 45 days from order date.

*You must initiate the return within 30 days of delivery. We must receive your returned items at our processing facility within 45 days of delivery.  You can expect to receive your refund within six weeks of shipping your package back to us. In most cases you will receive a refund much sooner, but we estimate four to six weeks because of the time required for return shipping (up to 14 days), product inspection at our returns facility (up to 5 business days), and processing from your bank or credit card company (up to 3 weeks). We will notify you via email with the details of your refund, and issue your refund in the form of payment used to make your purchase.

We do not give refunds for the following products:

  • Swimming Suits
  • Undergarments and other intimate apparel
  • Body Jewelry (i.e. all items within the "Body Jewelry" sub-category)and Earrings
  • Factory-sealed sports collectible sets
  • Gift Cards
  •  “Sale Merchandise” items (Merchandise specials may be returned)
  • Perfumes and Fragrances
  • Large Screen TVs (37” and larger)
  • Ink Cartridges
  • Medical Items
  • Memory Foam Mattresses that have been opened or taken out of their plastic wrap
  • Wine and perishable products (food items, chocolates, plants & flowers & wholesale flowers)
  • Any CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, video game, and cassette tape that has been opened/taken out of its plastic wrap
  • Case Packs/Bulk Items: No partial case pack returns will be accepted. Product must be returned in the original shipping pack with all individual items unopened
  • Other select items, as noted on the product description page
  • Furniture that has been partially or fully assembled or is missing parts.

How to Return an Item

Send an email to storemanager@chicsquirrel.com with “Return” as the subject line and a short description of the merchandise you want to return. You will receive a “Return Order Number” within 48 business hours by email. You may then return the merchandise via any shipment carrier. Once we have received and inspected the merchandise, you will receive a refund in the form of payment used to make your purchase.

All items must be returned in new or unused condition. All accessories in the original shipment must be included. (i.e. manuals, warranties, security seals, etc.). Media items must be returned unopened.

How to Return a Gift

We regret that we are unable to issue any kind of refund or credit to a gift recipient. In the event that an item arrives damaged or is defective, we will be happy to send you a replacement if the item is still available.

Defective Product and Returns Due to Our Error

 Defective items, items damaged at the time of receipt, and incorrect items received may be returned without penalty.  Your shipping charges will be waived.  When we receive your return, we will inspect the item and provide a replacement or issue a refund. If the product is not found to be defective, shipping fees will apply and/or a partial refund may be issued.

Shipping and Handling

Once your purchase is complete, it can take up to 48 hours to be processed. We ship most items by UPS ground, which will take between 5-10 business days to arrive depending on where you live. Right now we do not offer a faster shipping method.

Shipping Rates

Chic Squirrel.com determines shipping rates based on weight (rather than location) with a minimum shipping fee of $5.00 for each order. In general, shipping costs less per item, when you ship multiple items to the same location.
